Engagement Album - Chessa & Josh

Today was like Christmas in April! We received an engagement album we had been eagerly waiting for and we also made a hefty purchase on indoor lighting and backdrops. We will now be able to offer indoor sessions for bridal portraits, children, babies, etc. Soooo excited!! Although, we do have an obsession with natural lighting and will still shoot the majority of our work outdoors.

Okay, so introducing our new beautiful engagement book! This was custom designed by us and we chose a metallic cover with linen paper. There are other choices such as a metallic canvas cover (which looks equally amazing) and pearl paper. Such a variety of options for these books! Easy to get creative! We can also design this album as a guest signing book. We would leave a portion of each page blank (white) where guests could sign and leave you a short message.

This album is only one type of book among many we will now be offering! Can't wait to get more in! Let us know what ya'll think :) If you see it in person, you won't be able to stop touching the linen pages and you'll see the glimmer in the metallic cover.

We kinda LOVE it...

Spring Special...$100 Photo sessions!

Spring has sprung and we are antsy to get outside and do some pre-wedding season shooting! We've decided to start a spring session special (say that 3x fast!) to encourage you to come play outside with us. The special includes up to 2 hours at one location within 50 miles of Denver and up to 4 people for only $100 (normally $175). Additional people are $15 a head.

There will only be one Spring of 2010, so consider scheduling a session with your family, your baby, your children, or significant other. Pets are always welcome to join at no additional cost of course!

You must book by April 28 for a session in April/May.

Can't wait for you to join us in welcoming in the start of warm weather!

Yours Truly,

It's all in the details pt. 2

I stumbled upon these AMAZING hangers on a photography website and then found them on Etsy.
Seriously, every bride should have one made! Such a cute detail and the photos are that much more amazing. No more plastic hangers!!

And for the bridesmaids too!! Looove it!

Or just a simple heart. Perfect.

It's all in the details

Weddings are a reflection of who you are as a couple. Have some fun with it! I love going to a wedding and seeing something that I have never seen before (and I've been to a lot of weddings).

I found this website with so many fun bow ties. Don't worry, the site includes how to tie a bow tie.

Below are Kimothy's wedding shoes. So cute:) Every bride should have a beautiful, fun shoe on her wedding day. Or at least have the bridesmaids wear something amazing.

Etsy and all it's fabulous artists have custom made cake toppers. There are so many to choose from. How cute are they? Miniature dolls from your big day. Love it!

These living escort cards doubles as a favor. I love the potted plan idea. Found at The Wedding Chicks.

We are in our friends wedding in August and she and her soon to be sister in law made these adorable hair accessories for the bridesmaids.

I claimed the blue one and I'm pretty sure Kimothy claimed the green.

We can't wait to wear them! Our dresses are midnight blue and the bright, bold colors will compliment them so well:)

We would love to hear what you did to make your wedding day unique (accessory wise). Feel free to comment!

Happy planning:)

Cute as a button hair accessories...

I just found this up and coming blog that shares romantic stories from various couples, provides wedding and marriage tips, and also inspires by showcasing really cute, crafty ideas that can be applied to the wedding day.

It's called Love, Milk, and Honey! What a great name, sigh*

One of my favorite finds on this new blog is the accessories page! Check it out! These would be great in photographs tucked in the bridesmaids' pretty updos!

If you like what you see, you can visit Lisa Raser's store on Etsy called Ink & Button.

Don't you just love creative, crafty people? If you haven't heard of Etsy, it is the best online marketplace to find fun, fresh, handmade goods of all kinds. Also, there is another similar site I enjoy perusing through (instead of doing work) called Paper n Stitch. Go ahead, search "wedding". I triple dog dare you. There is a plethora of wedding cuteness to leave you saying ooooh, awwwwww for the rest of the day :)
