Meet Audrey & Benny...

High school sweethearts...

But...

they never realized it until later on in life!

Audrey & Benny both attended Highlands Ranch High School together but were never really well acquainted until they met up again, a little older and wiser from their teeny bopper days, and became LOVESTRUCK. Yes...you guessed it...the relationship was rekindled through the fabulous social media site Facebook. You guys should probably give Zuckerberg a shout out somewhere during the wed. :)

So then that's where we come in! We're here to document your unique story in the most personalized, meaningful way. At least, that is our goal for every session. And Audrey & Benny made it really easy and fun to get creative!

Audrey happens to be the fabulous hair stylist of Love•n•Joy! She is awesome, ladies. Must call her for your next new doooo. People ask where I get my wiggy hair from. (ya, I know it is big, Dolly Parton-ish paintbrush hair). But Audrey is able to tame the mop! :) When we first moved to Colorado, I started frequenting her salon and remember when she first brought up her crush on a blast from the past! She was referring to her excitement in reuniting with Benny and now, today, siighhhh, they are engaged :) So cool to have watched that transpire!

How cute are they? Congrats you two!

Meeting you was fate, becoming your friend was a choice, but falling in love with you was beyond my control.

Lindsey & Colter...Downtown Denver Engagement Session {Denver Engagement Photography}

We met Lindsey & Colter at the Wine Loft downtown. They needed some liquid courage. Hey, we know it's difficult to be in front of the camera. Who are we to judge?? :) From there we wandered around LoDo photographing where ever we felt inclined. Lindsey & Colter are so fun to hang out with. They are such a playful and adorable couple. Can't wait for their wedding this June!

We ended the session in Larimer Square. Who doesn't love that section of the street?

Megan & Matt engaged! {Denver Engagement Photography}

One of Megan & Matt's first dates was at Cheesman Park, wandering around getting to know each other. (romantic despite the history of the park:)) They decided it would be the perfect place for their engagement photos. We couldn't agree more. Kimothy and I had never been to Cheesman Park (love new locations!) and it holds a lot of meaning for them. Perfect. We arrived to tons of construction, dirt and orange fencing EVERYWHERE. Not so perfect. But that didn't get us down. Megan & Matt are so cute and so in love it's hard not to get some beautiful, fun photos of them. Can't wait to photograph their wedding next year!

Brittany & Jeff engaged! {Denver Engagement Photography}

Are you ready for another autumn in Colorado engagement shoot?? Yeah? I thought you'd say that:) Meet Brittany & Jeff. They are getting married in April and we couldn't be more excited for their wedding. Have we mentioned that we love our clients? Absolutely the sweetest. For example, during the Thanksgiving holiday, we received an extra special email from Brittany & Jeff that reminded us of how lucky we are to be working with genuinely awesome people...

The email from Britt and Jeff read:

Hey guys we just wanted to send you an email saying thank you so much for all the work you put into our engagement photos and our save the dates. The save the dates were a HUGE success in the family and everyone loved them and thought the photos were the best photography they have seen (even the ones who got married, wished they had you guys) and we thought since its the week of thanksgiving, we should express our gratitude to you both, what you do really is amazing! and can't wait till April and the wedding. Thanks again!!! :) :)

Britt and Jeff

Brittany and I had been going back and forth trying to find the perfect location for her engagement session. She wanted somewhere with mountains, golden leaves and maybe some water. I'm sure there are thousands of these places in Colorado but we were hoping to keep it near Denver. Then I remembered Julie & JC's engagement shoot. Problem solved! The park looks so much different in the fall. It was gorgeous. See for yourself.... :)

We ended with matching Rockies shirts. Too bad they didn't go further this year but there's always next year! (spoken like a true Cleveland fan at heart). I do the Tulo chant in my head whenever I see this pic:)
