Lindsay & Kip :: A day in Evergreen, CO {Evergreen Engagement Photography}

Lindsay & Kip are getting married this October.....in HAWAII!!! The same place they vacation often and where Kip popped the big question. At sunset. Is there a better scenario?

There are so many reasons we love this couple. Yes, other than we get to photograph their big day in HAWAII. :) haha. Lindsay & Kip are so much fun to be around. They are funny, so sweet, and so cute together. Plus, they bought us lunch :) One way to our hearts is through our stomaches. We met Lindsay & Kip in downtown Evergreen and photographed our way through the adorable little town. Then, we headed to Three Sister's Park where their pup, Diesel, joined in on the photos.

We busted out our new Lensbaby. Thoughts??

We cannot wait to witness their nuptials this fall....in Hawaii!! :)

Audrey & Benny {Denver Engagement Photography}

Meet Audrey & Benny...

High school sweethearts...

But...

they never realized it until later on in life!

Audrey & Benny both attended Highlands Ranch High School together but were never really well acquainted until they met up again, a little older and wiser from their teeny bopper days, and became LOVESTRUCK. Yes...you guessed it...the relationship was rekindled through the fabulous social media site Facebook. You guys should probably give Zuckerberg a shout out somewhere during the wed. :)

So then that's where we come in! We're here to document your unique story in the most personalized, meaningful way. At least, that is our goal for every session. And Audrey & Benny made it really easy and fun to get creative!

Audrey happens to be the fabulous hair stylist of Love•n•Joy! She is awesome, ladies. Must call her for your next new doooo. People ask where I get my wiggy hair from. (ya, I know it is big, Dolly Parton-ish paintbrush hair). But Audrey is able to tame the mop! :) When we first moved to Colorado, I started frequenting her salon and remember when she first brought up her crush on a blast from the past! She was referring to her excitement in reuniting with Benny and now, today, siighhhh, they are engaged :) So cool to have watched that transpire!

How cute are they? Congrats you two!

Meeting you was fate, becoming your friend was a choice, but falling in love with you was beyond my control.

Lindsey & Colter...Downtown Denver Engagement Session {Denver Engagement Photography}

We met Lindsey & Colter at the Wine Loft downtown. They needed some liquid courage. Hey, we know it's difficult to be in front of the camera. Who are we to judge?? :) From there we wandered around LoDo photographing where ever we felt inclined. Lindsey & Colter are so fun to hang out with. They are such a playful and adorable couple. Can't wait for their wedding this June!

We ended the session in Larimer Square. Who doesn't love that section of the street?

Katie & Kyle...a sweet stroll through country Colorado {Boulder Engagement Photography}

Each blog updating event becomes more and more frustrating than necessary for us. We sit down with the intent to share recent work that we think is pretty cool, then blogger ruins everything. The alignment of the photos and text is sometimes off. The size of the images are confined to a small strip of space. We apologize for our blog looking a little helter skelter. But, you'll be happy to know we are completely revamping our blog in the next month and switching to Wordpress. What does this mean exactly? Larger images, easier to create/edit new posts, and the ability to use really dynamic Wordpress templates that can be fully customized (don't worry, we are hiring a professional to do this!) We cannot wait to share with you the new design!

Oops! Enough with the griping. I'm done, I promise.

Introducing Katie & Kyle! They are engaged and plan on marrying in 2012 but wanted to get going on an engagement session before Kyle departs to Afghanistan in May for military duty. We feel honored to have done this for them. And guess what! They are high school sweethearts (love that!) These two were so fun to work with and we hope their quiet, playful love resonates throughout the following images... P.S.- Colorado's beauty never ceases to fail us. We fully recognize and appreciate the 300 days of sunshine. :) Love, like sunshine, warms every moment...brightens every day.
