Melissa & Matt...day at the amusement park!

Okay, so this engagement shoot with Melissa & Matt was ridiculously fun. You can clearly see how animated and fun loving this couple is from all the pics. It was SO hard to only share this many! They were up for anything and so adorable together. Tess and I cannot wait to photograph their wedding this summer! We're also pretty excited about doing a trash the dress session with Melissa following the wedding. O joy, so much to look forward to with these two. Notice there's a whoooole lot o kissing going on and half the time, we did not prompt it! They are so obviously crazy about each other. It's pretty inspiring :)

I hope these photos make you smile as much as they make us smile...

Julie & JC...lil frolic through the forest

Okay so we are running behind on posting all of our recent work! Our apologies! Life has been crazy lately. Tess and I just returned from Vegas, so we've been playing catch up non-stop. P.S.-Vegas was awesome.

So we recently photographed an engagement session for Julie & JC whose wedding is this Saturday! Woo hoo! We can't wait! There's nothing better than spending the day with a fun couple and wandering through the beautiful wildlife in Colorado. It was Julie's idea for this specific location and we were so pleased with all the surroundings. There was such a romantic element there that we really strived to reveal in the photos. Definitely will be back for other shoots! Thanks Julie! (I told Tess she's bringing me and my hubs back there for our one-year anniversary shoot this summer...teehee)

Check out the mad cuteness of this couple. Can't wait to post their wedding pics from this upcoming weekend!

Melissa, Anthony, and Oliver...a lovely day at Garden of the Gods!

Last Sunday we had the pleasure of photographing another gorgeous family. We are so lucky to have such wonderful clients! So this photo shoot of Melissa, her fiance Anthony, and their little stud muffin of a boy, Oliver (O-Dub for short!) was a precursor to their 2011 wedding (which we are way stoked to photograph).

We had another beautiful day in Colorado on Sunday with the incredible sandstone rock structures that make up the Garden of the Gods. Not to mention, an adorable family. They really are beautiful, aren't they? O-Dub is going to be a lady's man fo sho! Tess and I kept finding reasons to hold him while the other photographed Melissa & Anthony. For awhile, he was helping us hold the reflector. I think we've found our new wedding assistant!

Here are the photos...we hope you like them as much as we do.

Andrea & Joey {engagement session}

What can I say about this shoot other than.....amazing! The day turned out to be gorgeous,
Andrea & Joey are an adorable couple and so fun to photograph. Plus, the location was
so beautiful. We kept saying how it looked like a painting. It was so hard to choose which
photos to post so there are many!

Green grass, blue skies, fluffy white clouds, and rolling foothills...so picturesque. We LOVE
Colorado (don't think we can say that enough).

Baby Jake at 3 months!

Okay, so this boy has decided to grow at the speed of lightning and we rush to capture each pinnacle stage in his life through our lens!

Jake's parents, Ava & Jason, are extremely blessed! First of all, he's a little butterball turkey cutie. Second of all, he is the best behaved babe ever. He only lets out a soft cry for pretty understandable reasons such as hunger, dirty diaper, and sleep deprivation. This is one rational, no nonsense baby. Except when he sticks his little tongue out at you!

My favorite :)

think he looks like a plastic Cupid doll in this one...

Love his little attitude in this one (below)!
This child is destined to become a Cleveland Browns fan! You can thank your parents for that one, Jake!
