LnJ's Week in Review

We realize we need to blog more about our lives behind the camera. Easier said than done. But we will give it more effort. Promise.

We spent the better part of the week in Las Vegas for WPPI. Can't wait for next year already!!

Highlights from the week:
•just being in Vegas. It's our happy place :)
•meeting Amelia & Justin Lyon. Amazing photographers. Amazinggg people.
•meeting the many Denver photographers at the Pictage party at Studio 54 (and many others sprinkled throughout the U.S.)
•hanging with Mr. Jensen Sutta
•the huuuuge trade show jam-packed with so many amazing new things to drool over. Personally, I'd like the $11,000+ canon lens. A girl can dream, right?? :)

At the Pictage party at Studio 54. We love each other.

We rushed home to attend the Crave Denver book launch at Jazz @ Jack's Thursday night.

We have spent the last few months photographing for this little book. It is such an honor to have been apart of it. We have met a lot of amazing ladies (and gentlemen) from it. A big shout out to Mia Voss for all her hard work putting it together and just being amazing. Thanks Mia!

Our spread in the book. Love it!
(above) Our logo was front and center of the board. We were excited, can you tell?? :) Photo by one of our favorite fellow photographers, John Bosley. And below is us with John. Photo taken by Nasim of Mansurovs Photography. Nasim and Lola are amazing as well.
We also realize that next week's installment will not be as cool. Bare with us.

Hope everyone has a great weekend! I know I'm going to sit on the couch for the majority of it. I'm EXHAUSTED!

xoxo,

Eve & Ilya's Fabulous Las Vegas Wedding {Destination Wedding Photography}

In honor of our trip to Vegas for WPPI, we thought we'd share the rest of our destination Las Vegas wedding from last month. (Click here for the sneak peek).

Eve & Ilya were married at the Guardian Angel Cathedral located on the Strip. The reception was held at the Platinum Hotel, just off the Strip with an amazing view. Eve & Ilya's wedding was the perfect Vegas wedding. It makes me want to get married in Vegas, stat. Who's in?! Weddings and Vegas mix perfectly together (in my opinion) because why else do you go to either one? I'll tell you why, to have FUN. And that is what Eve, Ilya and their guests did. Amazing wedding. Amazing location. Amazing people. We can't say it enough, we love our job! Okay, enough rambling and time for some photos.....

The life of a small business owner.... :)

Elvis showed up at the reception and rocked the house.
In true Vegas fashion, they were remarried by the King himself (sunglasses and sash were required).
Photos on Fremont Street were a must.

Eve & Ilya, we had an amazing time at your wedding! Thank you so much for choosing us to share in your special day. We wish you the best in your lives together!

Up next, the day after shoot at the Neon Museum and the desert...

Katie & Mandi....an Austrian couple in Boulder {Boulder Engagement Photography}

I love this couple!

Katie & Mandi were in town from Vienna, Austria to wrap up wedding details and made time for a wintery Boulder engagement session. They were troopers and even ended the shoot by laying in the snow making snow angels. These are my kind of clients! haha

We ended the shoot with some delish gourmet hot chocolate straight from Vienna. Yummmm.

Cannot wait for their wedding this summer and to work with them again!

We have attracted the NICEST clients. Seriously, we love all of you. We feel so extremely lucky.

I normally climb trees for these kind of shots. Luckily, there was a deck. :) I loved when Mandi yelled, "I underestimated how cold snow reeeeally is?!?!!" haha
And this is a clip from an awesome movie (thanks for the reminder of how funny it really is, Jensen Sutta) to make you chuckle :)
