Angie & Brian Married! Breckenridge, CO {Denver Wedding Photographers}

Angie & Brian were married in Breckenridge on August 14th (we know, we know, we are behind on the blogging!) at Beaver Run Resort. It is so much fun for us to meet new clients, get to know them, talk about their wedding day, and to see it all come into fruition. Weddings really are a reflection of who you are as a couple and Angie & Brian's day really reflected their style...laid back, classic, elegant, and fun.

Angie started the day with a family brunch. A custom in her family that her grandfather started. I would post a nice photo but how fun would that be?

While Kimothy was at the brunch, I headed to Breckenridge Golf Club to meet up with Brian and the guys. Perfect day and an amazing view....

We capture EVERYTHING :) Amy & Eric are good friends with Angie & Brian. Of course we had to do Eric's lemur pose. lol. I'm sorry Amy, it's just too funny:)

Brian is an awesome dancer. We could watch him all day.

It's already been a year since we have started our little business. Time flies when you're having fun!!!

We can't express how grateful we are to our amazing families, friends, and clients. Without you we wouldn't be where we are today. And we are growing everyday both professionally and personally. We are still stunned that we've received such wonderful acceptance and feedback as we've offered our services to you all! Thank you, thank you, thank you.

Our number one priority has always been and will continue to be, providing our clients with generous attention and care, treating them with the utmost respect, and providing them with a service that cannot be matched. We strive to infuse our love and awe for the special bonds people find in one another into our work and are so proud that joy really resounds in our images. While our company name may sound cliche, when it comes down to it, that's what we are here to do. Capture the love and the joy in your lives through our artistic interpretation and technical skill. We do tend to become your friends along the way because it's hard to step into someones life for their most memorable events and not get too attached! :)

We decided that the best way to celebrate our first year in business was to do what we love...photographing YOU!

We decided to make it a little more interesting and make it a COMPETITION....

Competition Details:

So, here are the rules:
•leave a comment here explaining your dream shoot (family, maternity, engagement, bridal portrait, trash the dress...) including location, props, outfits, etc. Or you can send an email to info@lovenjoyphotography.com. The more creative the better!
•must be shot before the end of 2010 (I think I just found a new years catch phrase)
•35 miles within Denver (exceptions can be made....)
•must live in Colorado (sorry Ohioans)
•open to existing and new clients:)

What you will win:

•your dream shoot with yours truly for up to two hours

•an 8x10 print of your choice

•10 edited images on disc along with copyrights

Sydney + Dad + Park = pure JOY! {Children Photographers}

My cousin Mike contacted me out of the blue this past summer about photographing his daughter Sydney, who was turning 5 yrs old. Our family is a little distant on that side so I had never actually met Mike before and was thrilled that he reached out to me and had been following our work here at LnJ. While we were in Ohio for weddings, we arranged to meet and if weather permitted, include a photo shoot during the get together! Weather did not permit the first trip to OH. But I got the opportunity to meet a great man who I'm very regretful for just meeting now after all these years! AND his daughter is a photographer's dream. Bubbly, outgoing, charismatic and cute as a button, with fiery red hair and clear blue eyes. We kept saying we are going to submit her pics to Gap kids or United Colors of Benetton. Go ahead, click on the link to their site and tell me you don't agree. She'd be a PERFECT fit. I'm callin them up!! Not only was she the perfect little model (when Ohio finally smiled upon us on a different day and allowed us to take some lovely photos), she's also a little lady I'm proud to call my cousin! I only wish I had the Flip video on me to record her various ideas for poses. It was pretty hilarious and I hope you all can see what a fun kid she is through these photos. It's also very apparent how precious and unrelenting of a bond these two have as father-daughter. It was a JOY to witness.

Thank you for letting me document your fifth year in life Syd! And thank you Mike for going out on a limb and reaching out to a long lost cousin! Can't wait to photograph you guys again!
